Favorite Moment/Event: My favorite memory so far was the speeches! Chair: College of Arts and Sciences
Why they joined Senate: I wanted to voice the concerns of others and be a person on campus that others can rely on. I also hope to promote inclusion and diversity. Going to a PWI can be overwhelming for a POC, especially if you come from a diverse community back home. I want to ensure all voices are heard, no matter race, gender, background. Along with so, I plan on also being an advocate for the women in STEM. Most STEM fields are heavily dominated by males and I want to ensure female-identifying individuals feel encourage to continue pursuing STEM and have the support they need.
